BCS Flex recorders are advanced devices designed for video surveillance, which are based on the Linux operating system. This provides the devices with security, reliability and operational stability. As a result, the recorder delivers high performance in a variety of operating conditions.

The use of Intel Core processors in the recorders, which are based on advanced x86 architecture, allows for a much higher quality in both live viewing and playback operation compared to standard CCTV recorders. Intel Core utilizes advanced security features, such as Advanced Encryption Standard New Instructions (AES-NI), which has an impact on data security and productivity in calculations.

Years of experience in the security industry have led to the development of our proprietary software, designed to provide users with maximum functionality and reliability. The operation of the interface has been tailored to provide easy and simple access to the most necessary system functions. Intuitive live view tabs with quick access to recorded material are just some of the many features that make the recorders easier to operate. The support for intelligent camera analysis functions and the possibility of additional analysis of an alarm triggered in this way increases resistance to false alarms. Remote device control can be conducted through dedicated software BCS Manager or the free VNC client. The recorders are highly recommended for medium and large CCTV systems.

The recorder operates in PENTAPLEX mode, it can simultaneously perform all five functions available in this type of product: video recording, live view/video playback, remote work (via network), archiving of recorded footage, and device administration.

Remote access to the BCS Flex recorder is available through the DWService platform, either via a web browser or mobile app. During the connection, we have full administrative access to the device, and can also assign one-time service access. Such access provides us with configuration possibilities, downloading blocked recordings, as well as live viewing and archive recordings.

Access to the recorder is also available via the VNC protocol from any software that supports this communication protocol. This provides the ability to view live footage, access recorded materials, and configure the device.

Live View
The recorder offers live viewing from added devices across two tabs. Each tab can display up to 64 windows. Each view can be saved and quickly recalled by the operator. From the live view, we can easily add a camera for playback or call up the archive for a particular channel in the live view window.
Recording
The recorder offers advanced recording schedule options, including regular recording, motion-triggered recording, alarm-triggered recording, and intelligent IVS alarms provided by the camera. Each alarm type is clearly marked on the playback timeline. The playback module also allows for browsing intelligent events and POS data.
E-Map
The e-map module allows you to place device channels on any graphic image or interactive world map. It enables live viewing from selected cameras and signals alarm events. It also provides easy access to playback windows and adding cameras to the list of played channels.
Captions
The module offers advanced text-to-video integration, allowing captions to be collected and displayed as an overlay on the video stream in the live view window. An example use is the display of receipts from cash registers in the live view of a camera pointed at the cash register, or the integration of a scale and the display of readings in the image.

The analytical module enables both video and image analysis, detecting events such as abandoned objects, line crossing, intrusion, or missing objects. The operator is informed of intelligent events during live view, and these events can be recorded as snapshots available in the "Reports" tab. Rules for specific devices can also be configured, detailing detection parameters such as the time an object stays in an area (ROI), object dimensions, or the direction of movement across a line.
