The BCS Flex recorder is an advanced video surveillance device based on the Linux operating system. This ensures the device’s security, reliability and operational stability. As a result, the recorder delivers high performance in a variety of operating conditions.
Intel Core Series Processor:
The use of Intel Core processors in the recorders, which are based on advanced x86 architecture, ensures a significantly higher quality of live view and playback than standard CCTV recorders. Intel Core processors utilise advanced security features, such as Intel Software Guard Extensions (SGX) and Advanced Encryption Standard New Instructions (AES-NI), which enhance data security and computational performance.
Proprietary software:
Many years of experience in the security industry have enabled us to develop our own proprietary software, which has been designed to provide users with maximum functionality and reliability. The interface is designed to provide easy and straightforward access to the system’s most essential functions. Intuitive live view tabs with quick access to recorded footage are just some of the many features that simplify the operation of the recorders. Support for intelligent camera analysis functions and the ability to perform additional analysis of any resulting alarm provide greater resistance to false alarms. Remote control of the device can be carried out via the dedicated BCS Manager software or the free VNC client.
These recorders are ideal for medium and large CCTV systems.

PENTAPLEX
function The recorder operates in PENTAPLEX mode and can simultaneously perform all five functions available in this type of product: video recording, live view/playback, remote operation [over the network], archiving of recorded footage, and device administration.
Remote access:
DWService
Remote access to the BCS FLex recorder is possible via the DWService platform, both via a web browser and via a mobile app. Whilst connected, we have full administrative access to the device and can also grant one-off service access. This access allows us to configure the device, download locked recordings, and view live footage and archived recordings.
VNC
: Access to the BCSFlex recorder is also possible via the VNC protocol from any software that supports this communication protocol. This allows us to view live footage, access recorded material and configure the device.
Features:
Viewing: the recorder offers a live view of connected devices across two tabs. One tab can display up to 35 windows. Each view tab allows you to save views, which can be quickly recalled by the operator. From the view screen, you can easily add a camera for playback or access the archive for a specific channel within the view window.
Recording: the recorder offers advanced recording schedule options, including regular recordings, motion-triggered recording, alarm-triggered recording and intelligent IVS alarms provided by the camera. Each of these alarms is clearly marked on the playback bar. The playback module also allows us to view intelligent events and POS data.
E-map: the e-map module allows device channels to be overlaid onto any graphic image or interactive world map. It enables live viewing from selected cameras and the display of alarm events. It also makes it easy to open the playback window and add a camera to the list of channels being played back.
Subtitles: this module offers advanced capabilities for integrating text with video, allowing subtitles to be captured and displayed as an overlay on the video stream in the preview window. An example application is displaying receipts from cash registers on the preview of a camera pointed at the till, or integrating a scale and displaying its readings on the video feed.
Advanced intelligent analysis functions (ALFA): the analytics module enables the analysis of both video and still images, detecting events such as an abandoned object, line crossing, intrusion or a missing item. The operator is notified of intelligent events in live view mode, and these events can be recorded as images available in the ‘Reports’ tab. Rules can also be configured for selected devices, specifying detailed detection parameters such as the duration an object remains in a region of interest (ROI), the dimensions of objects, or the direction in which a line is crossed.
