Overvoltage limiter designed for ETHERNET networks, also those working in PoE standards. The module protects devices connected to the network against temporary electric shocks. The system reduces the voltage to a safe level, reducing the number of failures. The module can be a security element for IP CCTV systems, wired ETHERNET and wireless WiFi devices, etc. The device works with all PoE power standards and with Gigabit Ethernet networks. The system also works without an earthing connection, limiting the overvoltage between the cores. Connecting the earthing system allows to limit the voltage in relation to the earth, which increases the effectiveness of protection.
