Description

PG8985 - a wireless flood detector with two-way communication for indoor use. The flood signal (when the two sensor probes come into contact with water) is digitally transmitted to the alarm control panel using the PowerG protocol. A tamper switch activates the tamper signal when the housing is opened. A periodic supervision signal is sent automatically at specified time intervals.

Double tamper protection: opening the housing and tearing off the wall

The LED illuminates each time an alarm or tamper signal is transmitted. The LED does not light when a supervision signal is being transmitted. The device is powered by a 3V lithium battery. If a low battery voltage is detected, this signal is sent to the alarm control panel. After each water leak, the detector should be cleaned and dried.

PowerG series devices can be connected to the system via the dedicated HSM2HOST8 receiver module or using keypads with a built-in radio receiver (keypads marked RF).
