A wireless magnetic detector that alerts you to the first signs of a break-in through a door or window. It can be installed on all types of doors, including those with a metal frame.

The detector works with the wireless device module designed for the PulsonAlarm 2.0 4G system.

Structurally, the detector consists of two parts – a magnet and a unit with a reed switch. 

It features magnets that allow for a choice of mounting orientation: parallel (large magnet) or perpendicular (small magnet). 

The principle of operation of the door contact is based on the properties of the reed switch – a component that acts as a conductor when exposed to a magnetic field. 

In the normal state, the magnet and the reed switch unit are in contact. As soon as the door on which the sensor is mounted opens – the magnet is moved away 

from the reed switch, the contacts open and the reed switch ceases to conduct current. When the door closes, the process reverses: as the magnet approaches 

the reed switch, the contacts open and the reed switch begins to conduct current. 

In both cases, the detector is triggered and immediately sends an alarm message to the central unit.
