The detector works with the wireless device module designed for the PulsonAlarm 2.0 4G system.

The MotionProtect wireless PIR motion detector detects human presence using an infrared sensor. The data received is digitally processed to prevent false alarms. 

The device automatically increases or decreases the sensor’s sensitivity to ensure accurate motion detection on hot and cold days.

The detector operates by detecting infrared (IR) radiation; as soon as the detector detects such radiation, it analyses the weight of the living object, and if it exceeds 20 kg, it sends an alarm signal to the central alarm unit via a radio channel. 

A special algorithm for processing the received signal provides additional verification of the object based on its mass and the presence of movement, in order to minimise false alarms caused by moving pets. In this way, the detector is triggered only when it detects human movement. 

The detector features a state-of-the-art, highly reliable communication system, enabling it to operate effectively across several storeys or at a distance of up to 1,700 metres in open terrain from the alarm control panel.

This wireless motion detector can be used to protect a variety of premises: 

flats, private homes, holiday homes, offices, shops, warehouses, production facilities, etc.
An advantage of this detector is its convenient and very easy self-installation using a smart mounting bracket; the user does not need to dismantle the detector during installation.

Installing the detector using the smart mounting bracket is very convenient and will not damage the room after refurbishment;

The detector regularly sends test signals to the control panel; furthermore, the polling interval for the detectors can be adjusted as required. Should anyone attempt to steal or damage the detector, the alarm system control panel will immediately detect this and trigger an alarm;

To ensure reliable monitoring of the detector’s operation, it systematically transmits a signal indicating its battery charge level to the control panel; the user will be immediately informed when the detector’s battery needs replacing;

The information transmitted by the detector is adequately protected against interception and tampering;
The maximum distance between the detector and the control panel is 1,700 metres (under line-of-sight conditions);
The detector uses the general-purpose 868 MHz frequency for signal transmission, which does not require a licence;
The detector detects movement from a distance of 12 m, with a horizontal detection angle of 88.5°;
It is immune to pets weighing up to 20 kg and standing up to 50 cm tall;
The detector does not react to accidental movement of inanimate objects;
The detector’s sensitivity can be adjusted. You can select the optimum sensitivity depending on the size of the animal that will be in the room;
Adaptive transmission power adjustment, depending on the distance from the central unit, enables significantly lower battery consumption;
Digital temperature compensation ensures high detector sensitivity, even when the room temperature is close to human body temperature;
